CANCELLED - 2021 Big Sky Regional Ophthalmology CME Conference

Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and on-going restrictions, the Montana Academy of Ophthalmology has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Big Sky Regional Ophthalmology CME Conference.

Unfortunately, with so many unknowns, rising COVID-19 numbers, and on-going county level restrictions, Big Sky has decided to close the Yellowstone Conference Center for the entire 2020/2021 Season. Due to that, we will not be holding our annual CME conference in 2021.

The executive board discussed a variety of other options, such as a different location or a virtual CME, but ultimately, a major part of our CME success and draw is the face-to-face time between colleagues from around the state and region as well as the beautiful location and unparalleled skiing.

Most importantly, we want to ensure we are not unnecessarily exposing anyone to COVID-19 or potentially negatively impacting anyone’s practice.

The Montana Academy of Ophthalmology is working with Big Sky to secure the 2022 dates. Hopefully we will back to normal and gathering in-person by then.

Thank you for your understanding.
